As promised a couple of pictures of the completed baby quilt. The shower is tomorrow. I hope the mom likes it! I also made a little taggy blanket out of the left over backing that is so cosy and soft. I like the contrast of the white sashing and the colors a lot. I thinking about making another quilt with the same design but with reds and pinks. Although I'm not 100% sure I want to submit myself to the finicky piecing involved in the process. We'll see! I'm looking forward to starting a new project this weekend, or maybe I should concentrate on my last UFO {cringe}

Oh, so cute! Adorable quilt. I'm lovin' the colors and the footballs are a fun addition! Great job, Caroline! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt. The colors are really fun and the footballs, what can I say. What little boy wouldn't love that.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you linked up at A Crafty Soiree! I'm sorry I'm a bit tardy in making all my visits. I was out late last night and we had a terrible rain storm when I got home. Not good weather for using the computer!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is fantatic, I love that you used a football motif on the front as well. The white really makes everything pop nicely. Thanks for sharing and I hope you'll join us for the newest one, it started today.
