I received this laundry hamper for free and I've been using it for my daughter. It is functional and in good shape but not very exciting and definitely not very girly.
Now for a splash of colors
I added a strip of a green gingham I inherited from someone's de-stash
And a handmade flower - See the tutorial for the fabric flower here
I also added a fabric flap with a drawstring to make it easy to take to the laundry room
A bit of spray paint on the wood frame to spruce it up
Just enough for a white wash look
Much better !
Side by side before and after
Total cost of the hamper $3 for the paint can
Cute! Found this through the post you did on the daisy - visiting from Take A Look Tuesday.
