What I've been up to - Week 15

Well this has been an interesting week. I worked from home for the most part which help managing my recovery. My boss is a really great guy!!

Not much got done in the studio. I mostly made flowers (ahah.. more flowers yes) and finished this cool ruffled handbag that I had started 2 weekends ago at the sewing retreat in Delaware.

I found just a little bit of energy to prettify my living/dining room with some Spring/Easter inspired decor. I have started something really really adorable. Hope to finish it today and share it with you soon. It's fluffy and cute.

Last week nobody figured out which coffee cup pin cushion I bought (Well Amie did but she was with me so it doesn't count)
Want to try to guess again ??
Still a flower brooch to win here

I've been slowly recovering from surgery. everyday a bit more energy, everyday a bit less painkillers. I am feeling so much better than last Sunday already. Yesterday, I finally spent a bit of time in my front yard, getting some flowers in my planters, sweeping the porch. Small yard work. One hour was enough to wipe me out but it's one hour more than I could have expected not too long ago. Oh and I watched the movie RED. I think I'm going to watch it again soon.

Bad news of the week. My laptop is very sick (ugh). So no access to my photos until it is fixed. At least I can use the family computer (and I have a good backup of the laptop too). I can't wait to have it back.

I guess that you bought the white, caramel and grey cupcake on the left.
