Poppy love

I said it before,  there is a special place for Australia in my heart. When I heard that Carol (Naturally Carol) was looking for crafters to make cushions covers (she provides the inserts) for Queensland families that lost everything in the devastating January floods, I knew I had to help. It took me a while to complete but it's done and they are on their way to Australia already :

First I made this series of poppies applique pillowcases

Then I stumbled on that pink blossoms fabric screaming "Sew me, I'm cute"
So I went for the cute

Check out the cushions made by Gwen (Gwenny Penny) and her mom. If you can make some cushion covers to be sent to Australia and help out people that need help rebuilding their homes,  just email Carol.
