What I've been up to - Week 10

It's starting to take a turn for the spring here in MD. Signs are everywhere. It's been spring in my studio with some St Patrick's inspired crafts and a lot of fabric blossoms.

This necklace came to life by accident. A cocktail ring broke, giving me the pendant, I found an orphaned piece of ribbon that looked great with those chunky green glass beads. I love how it turned out.

The shirt was my first freezer paper stencil experience. I'm sold.

Again, my tulle wreath got a seasonal makeover.

And there is not a week without some fabric flowers.

Unfortunately, some nasty germ also found its way and we have all been a bit sick, mostly sore throat, and sniffles. We are on the mend and taking it easy this weekend. Tuesday is Mardi Gras. In France, it means carnival and dressing up. And of course all kind of baked goodies. I haven't made a cake in way too long. I really should bake something right ?? With chocolate maybe? Oh yeah!! I feel better already.

What have you been up to this week?

  2. That necklace is beautiful, Caroline. I love the look of the green beads. I haven't tried freezer paper stenciling yet. Your shirt turned out great!
