After making a number of large flowers in satin and cotton voile, I felt I was ready to go a bit smaller. The need for precision is more evident here. No doubts I will starch the fabrics some more before cutting them next time. While the weight of the fabrics was right, it was too "springy" to maintain the folds nice and crisp so it made for irregular flowers. Still cute though. I've photographed this batch with a quarter to show the scale.
More experimenting to come
