Jeans upcycled - A fun apron

I like jeans made with lightweight denim for the summer. Unfortunately they tend to not last quite as much as the their classic denim counterpart. I had a couple of pairs that were beyond repair but still had potential and decided to challenge myself to make something out of them.

This is the first item which I finished Sunday morning: a little apron with a flirty ruffles. I armed myself with scissors and snip snip : Legs cut off and reused for the ruffles and sash, front gone. And a new fun apron for cooking, crafting and other endavors.

The pockets on those jeans were so nifty it would have been a shame not to reuse them don't you think?
And here is Amie modeling it for me :)
