March Pillow Party - Oh so ruffled!

I posted about this project a little while ago but decided it was worthy of being entered in the blogger's Pillow party organized by Rachel @ Stitched in colors

This came as an experiment. I was testing out my ruffler foot and is was a lot of fun. I love playing with solid fabrics and giving them life with a texture. So I went extreme with white on white. I used plain white muslin and my pinking scissors to cut the fabric strips. This could have been a boring white pillow. Could have ...

This white is definitely not so boring
I was going to leave the pillow in our family room but my daughter liked it so much she snagged it for her bedroom. What girl can resist ruffles I wonder. I can always make another one, after all this one was the result of experiments and I have much better control over my ruffler foot now.
