Sewing spree for Princess Fiona

I had been a while since Bug's Princess Fiona had gotten a new outfit. This oversight is now corrected. I dug up remnants of voile from another project, a cute scrap of paisley and some tulle for a 2-day sewing spree. 

Princess Fiona now has:

A ruffled multi-tiered dress

A long skirt and matching blouse

Purple pants

A matching vest

And a tutu. 

I think Fiona is set for a while and Bug is very happy with the wardrobe additions

A spooky little witch

This year, Bug wanted a spooky costume for the school Halloween parade. That was a change from princess the previous 2 hers so I went along.

I found the flocked satin at JoAnn's in the remnant bin, made a skirt adding a satin border and waistband then added some glittery spiders that were sold a table decorations.

Hot glued purple feathers to a regular witch had and added some more glitter spiders.

The top is a regular black long sleeve t-shirt to which I added a tulle ruffle and feather around the collar.

The final touch is a lace wrap with a purple border

 Abracadabra!! This whole getup cost me less than $15 :)

Pearl chandelier earrings

I love fresh water pearls. Their irregularity make them interesting and challenging. I had those chandelier earring bases in my bead stash for the longest time and finally figured what to do with them when I sorted everything out to pack for the big move and made those just before when sold our townhouse. I just never got around posting about it. 

They are fun and go with just about any outfit. The only downside is they are a bit heavy so I might replace the hooks with clips.
