Trading Post -Grey and Yellow... necklace

I showed "disaster area" pictures of my studio last time  Amie (Kitty Cats and Airplanes) came to visit for our "Grey and yellow" craft play date. The bead explosion resulted in this chunky bling necklace for me. 

 

I made a all the pendants different, attached them to the chunky chain with jump rings then treaded the yellow ribbon through. It just ties with a bow.

A cosy ruffled wrap

Somedays at the office, I wonder if our facilities department is trying to freeze us to death. Having to wear a sweater to the office when it's 90F out ? Well if figured I could make a wrap to leave there when the AC is a bit overboard. I found this fun super large dots fabric in the remnant bin at my latest visit at a store that shall not be named :).  I had the other materials in my stash.

My ruffler foot got a bit of exercise

So did my overcast foot - Perfect for impeccable topstitching

Now I just need to remember to take it along on Monday

Trading posts - Grey and yellow ... clutch

As usual when Amie (Kitty Cats and Airplanes) and I meet to craft it was a lot of fun. We had nothing planned ahead this time around, apart from a color scheme: grey and yellow. It's one of Amie's favorite color combinations (if not THE favorite). As usual, we put together our stashes and skills and came out with some really cool crafts. 

First Amie showed me how to make her sweet envelope clutch. I had this great floral brocade that was just perfect for the projects. And to jazz them up, I showed Amie the kanzashi folding technique and we made some matching flowers mounted on pins.
